I love nifty system monitors. I love colored numbers and spinning counters, lists of processes, mount points and memory use.
So something like glances is a terrific toy.
Network analysis, disk I/O, a sheaf of mount points and enough system analysis to keep me happy.
Aside from that, glances has a few sorting options, a keypress or two that will tuck information away from sight, and a couple of log display options.
It might appear a bit scarce to some people. But I have a fondness not only for ticking numbers and colored columns, but programs that know their limits.
So for me, this wins points. A lot of points.
